Tooth #5

Milo had a fever for 4 days and would barely eat (and for those of you that have been around him, you know this is NOT him!).  Luckily the fever broke Sunday and he actually ate breakfast this morning!  And lucky tooth #5 broke through sometime between Saturday and Sunday.  

Unfortunately with Milo not feeling well we couldn't go out and enjoy all the snow we got over the weekend.  It would've been perfect sledding and snowman weather!  

Milo's new thing is to constantly ask to go work on Daddy's rc cars.  It's very cute, he tries to take off the tires.  

Today was a busy day for Milo!  We went on a lunch play date to McDonald's with Owen, Hunter, and Hayden.  Milo had never been to the playland before and he LOVED it!  He stayed on that platform for awhile but then ventured down and just went back and forth on the bottom tier.  

We are having a rough few days with a slight fever and not eating, so we were happy that he had a good time.  We hope he's just teething, nothing else is wrong with him!

The cake is a Sweet 16 cake that we made for a client.  Very bright and colorful, obviously!

My first blog

Hello everyone!  I'm surprised that it's taken me this long to do it, but I'm going to attempt to blog!  

Milo is almost 18 months old now!  He is all over the place and tries to talk!  Some of his favorite words are "cracker, thank you, welcome, nananna (banana)" and other ones I can't think of at the moment.  He also tries to say what we say, but most of them don't sound like the words at all!

Jesse is very excited to have a 3 day weekend ahead of him!  As he says to Milo, "Three days to aggravate you and your mom."

I have 2 cakes to make in the next 3 days, one dirt bike cake and then one for Jesse's birthday, which is on the 17th.
